Long Beach Be The One Run Nov. 6th

Long Beach, CA – Long Beach will host Be The One Run™ on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at Shoreline Village at Marina Green Park. With a 5K, 1K Fun Run, and Tot Trot, Be The One Run is a perfect family activity, and people of all fitness levels can participate. The public is encouraged to participate by registering for the race, fundraising and/or volunteering at the event.

Every year 10,000 patients with disease like leukemia, lymphoma and sickle cell anemia need a marrow transplant but have no donor match in their family. They depend on Be The Match® to help them find a potential marrow donor and receive the transplant they need. For many, a marrow transplant is their best or only hope for a cure.

Every step participants take helps patients receive the marrow transplant they need, when they need it.

Be The One Run, Long Beach raises funds to add more members to Be The Match Registry®, increasing the chances that more patients will find a match.

Cafe Press Website

The Helping Tami Gift Shop is now available on Cafepress.  There are many great items to choose from and all sale proceeds will be used to help publicize the Helping Tami Nationwide Donor Drive.  Mark-ups per item do not exceed $1.  A few of the items available for purchase are pictured here.  However, there are many other items on the website also.  All products are in stock and available for delivery.

We have quite a few t-shirts to pick from in all sizes for men, women, and children including plus and extra large.  There are also many long sleeve style t-shirts to pick from.

Some of the t-shirts are available in a variety of colors also and a variety of styles including scoop neck, maternity, or v-neck styles. 

The Helping Tami Golf Shirt comes in sizes small through 2x-Large.  The Golf Shirt is nice since it has a collar and is heavier than a t-shirt.  It is 100% cotton and preshrunk for comfort and convenience.  

Everyone has their morning tea or coffee.  The Helping Tami ceramic mug is available in two sizes and can also be purchased as a travel mug or Stein.  As previously stated, all sales will help us publicize Tami's donor drives.

There are packages of buttons and bumper stickers that can be purchased and handed out to your friends and neighbors.  The more we can get the word out that Tami needs a transplant the more likely we are to find a donor.  The bumper stickers are sun and rain protected.

My personal favorite is the Helping Tami Dog T-Shirt available for small dogs like a Cairn Terrier to big dogs as large as a Labrador Retriever.  I plan to order a dog t-shirt for my dog, Daisy. What better way to advertise Tami's Donor Drive then on walks with your dog.  I'm sure Daisy will love her new t-shirt:)  The t-shirt is 100% cotton which will be comfortable and breathable for your pet.
