Apparently the Mucositis is causing Tami's mouth to feel sticky and her meds are responsible for making her taste buds not work properly. Many foods don't taste right and some that should taste good taste bad. Despite this Tami is eating an ok volume of food.She is also using the hydration machine to make sure she receives her intake of 1 liter of fluid per day. I've asked for a photo of the machine just out of curiosity and will post when I receive it.
Today she went for a short walk outdoors. Exercise is very important in her recovery so this is a good thing. I think she was going to try to get at least one more short walk in later today.

We took a walk yesterday along the levees in San Francisco Bay near the Dumbarton Bridge and imagined you were walking with us, Tami. We felt the wind in our faces and ran across 2 nice families fishing for striped bass. Just as we passed, they reeled in a skate! We took a photo of all of them with their catch, sporting a wing span of 5'! They released the skate which sat there stunned for a moment. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to have a second chance. Then he raced away enjoying his freedom and the great wide ocean.
