To encourage their local community members to participate in the National Marrow Donor Program, Harris County Texas has declared today ( June 26, 2009) Dr. Anh Reiss Day! Anh, like Tami, was also diagnosed with Myelodysplasia in 2009. You can learn more about Anh and her drive efforts at www.TeamAnh.org.Apparently it takes a County Judge, 4 commissioners and a Deputy County Clerk to have your Country name a day after you.
It is a symbolic gesture of a Marrow Donor Drive being held today at the:

11:00 am - 2:00 pm
