Well, we have good news and bad news today. I always like to hear the good news first which is that Tami was not required to have any transfusions today. The transfusions can be hard so it's always a good day when they are not required.
Now, the bad news is that Tami's fever has returned. The hospital had an infectious disease specialist examine her, but the doctor was unable to determine the cause of the fever. They gave Tami two intravenous antibiotics but Tami had an allergic reaction to one them. She is taking Benadryl again to combat the allergic reaction.
Tami will be unable to return home until the doctors can determine the cause of her fever. I'm sure Tami is disappointed since she was really looking forward to being able to sleep through the night.
