How Tami is Feeling

Today was a very rough day for Tami.  She had to have another platelet transfusion.  Soon after the transfusion, Tami got the chills and started to shake. It was very scary. The doctors gave her some Demerol. After about 15 minutes, the shaking subsided then the fever returned.  

Tami was also required to have a blood transfusion today.  The doctors prescribed some Tylenol(for her fever) and some Benadryl (for her allergies). Her temperature did return to normal by the time the transfusion was over.

By 5:00 p.m. Tami was just starting to feel a little better.  We are hoping she can get a full nights rest.
