Tami had both platelet and blood transfusions today. However, her fever has subsided!! The doctors are performing cultures and said nothing is growing in the cultures and that is a good sign. The doctors will check again tomorrow and if Tami's culture is still clean they will be able to remove her from the antibiotics. They make her feel bad so we are hoping she can stop taking them.
In other news, Tami moved rooms today. Her new room was recently remodeled and is nicer. She has been a patient in the hospital for one month so it was required that she switch rooms.
